Schools in Aberdeenshire

Good afternoon. Could anyone help me? I'd be really grateful! We are moving very soon to Aberdeenshire, and have been looking at the Banchory or Aboyne area. We looked around Banchory Primary School and loved it (seemed very vibrant) but we're struggling to find a rental nearby and the before and after school club is fully booked. The other possibility would be Aboyne, where we have seen a rental and there is wrap around care available. However, we were unable to see the schools there before the end of term. Does anyone have any experience of the primary and secondary school in Aboyne. Would be super grateful for your thoughts!

My niece is at Aboyne. She loves it and has grown up a lot over the last 12 months. She was previously at Torphins. Sorry, I can't get any first hand feedback for you as they are uncontactable for a couple of weeks.

Thank you for your message numbersaremything. It's tricky moving while the schools are on holiday like you say it's difficult to get much insight into the school. It's always nice to hear primary school recommendations tho, it definitely offers some reassurance :-)
