Does anyone know how I can get hold of either actual bbc videos or those that have been recorded at home, for primary school programs? The older the better.
the bbc shop website is awful, and so expensive.
Ive tried ebay.
The schools programme guide is hard to understand but from what I can see they restart in september probably.

My LO is tired of postman pat, spot and teletubbies etc. He loves the one numbertime video I have, and alphabet fun time.

Have you tried YouTube?
There are also dodgy TV link sites like Sidereel, TV Links, VEOH, etc.

If you go onto the Teachers Page on BBC Website it now allows you to download the catalogue. You could try emailing them. Enquire at school cos many are replacing videos with DVD's
