apparantly she wiped the floor with them!

I was out in the carpark with my 2 boys of 5 and 2 when I heard the foulest language ever! I was soooooooo mad I went ballistic at them.

One said, 'I live to swear. You f c*!!'

I nearly fell over. I was incandescant with rage that they should say words like that in front of anyone and asked them which year they were in. Someone else then told me the name of one of the boys so I went to the office and told the secretary.

Next day, ds1 came out with a letter from the headteacher to say the boys had been dealt with and their parents had been informed and they had each written me a letter to apologise!

She really told them off apparantly but I was so chuffed she dealt with it straight away.

Good on you Collision! Glad the head dealt with it and good of her to write to you too. Bet they weren't quite so "big" when stood in her office! yr 6s will be getting a bit too big for their boots at this stage, and ready to be taken down a peg or two when they're the "little ones" again in September.

The Headteacher said she wished more people would report things like that though.

They spent the whole lunchtime writing me letters!

Where on earth is this school where Y6s are so vile? I have a Y6 daughter and would dismember her if she ever came out with language like this! Good on you for reporting it though.

the funny thing is that it is a really good school but there is always one to spoil it!!

I am just impressed the head dealt with it so well.

I too would dismember ds if he came out with such language.

I told off a couple of boys in dd class once. They were climbing in a supermarket trolley and pushing each other around in it, generally getting in the way of everyone leaving school. They weren't being really naughty imo, but just needed telling. The following day, dd went in and told the teacher what I had said and that afternoon, I had apology letters from the kids and a note from the head thanking me for letting her know! I felt quite bad actually, I hadn't told dd to say anything, they weren't being that bad and I had dealt with it. It was nice to know that the head dealt with it anyway.
