I'm looking for some first-hand feedback of both of the above schools, as they seem to have equal pluses and minuses in my eyes.
I have visited both and one had a lot more energy and character than the other, I think this was down to the management being more passionate and enthused during the tour. One has better outdoor facilities, but I'm not sure on internal facilities they seem similar. One has long standing staff and the other doesn't. One felt a tad overwhelming and the other a little underwhelming! But both are good ofsted at present.
Rushmore however is out performing Millfields in terms of progress scores and I would like to find out why. Only 69% achieved expected standards v's 75% at Rushmore, and only 6% achieved higher standards v's 8% (last year). Due to the school size I believe this to be a whole class or more at Millfields that did not achieve expected, which is of concern.
Any input to help make my selection would be much appreciated!
