Hi All,

I need advice on how to train to become a midwife! And no matter how hard I search on the internet I just can seem to find any solid information.

I would really love to pursue a career in midwifery, it's my dream job. I currently have just a standard secondary school education, so I'm really unsure where to even start looking or gathering information.

I'm in my late 20's and it's always been something that I want to do.

Any guidance would be really great!

Thank you

Both the rcn website and health careers have extensive pages on how to become a midwife. They detail all the routes depending on the quailifications you already have.

You can use the course finder to look for course providers.

Where are you from?

I am currently a 3rd year midwifery student. The best place to ask is the university (or universities) that you would be looking to apply to. They will advise you if your qualifications are enough to apply or if you need any further qualifications. All universities are different so that is why you are best asking them as they will give you the right information you need.

Good luck!
