Apparently snobby parents in Loughton are objecting to Jade Goody sending her son to their private school - seems very unfair to me. Whatever I think of Jade Goody,I wouldn't give a toss if I was a parent of a child there...if she can afford to pay,why shouldn't her child go there ?

Poor kid because none of this is his fault. Starting school can be difficult enough for kiddies. What if the parents opinions rub off on the other kids? Even at reception age children can be cruel.
From his parents perspective I would send him to what I felt was the best school for him, state or private if I could afford it. From the other parents perspective, I too would be horrified at the possibility of a media circus at my ds school. TBH though, I think by making a big fuss over it they will probably make the whole thing worse.
Or is this just a publicity stunt for Jade

MaryAnnSingleton · 16/07/2007 10:55

mmm, can see your point manky - I'm sure that the media bit would wear off, but it'd be hard for the boy with all the baggage that comes with his mum, probably wherever he goes. It just seemed a bit mean to be getting a petition together to stop him going to the school

I agree, over the top! Which makes me go back to the publicity side again....or maybe I am just suspicious by nature

Jade wouldn't be out of place there quite a few essex mums lets hope she parks a little better than most of the parents that drop the kids off (oh sorry forgot she doesn't drive) he will have to leave at seven anyway as they don't have junior boys.
