Possibly changing schools again...

Hi,

We’ve moved to a new area 2.5 years ago. Our daughters are in Year 4 and Year 2. The independent school they attend now is ok, not amazing. However, they made good friends. We have the option to send them to a new school (better academically) in September in a new area. We can move because we’re renting.

I’m worried about moving them again. Starting new for all of us. Will it be worth it?... I have no idea. Confused

Anyone BTDT?

It would help to have more information is the new school until 11 or until 13? What are the options for secondary schools? How selective are these options and how likely are your DD's to get in? What makes the new school better academically? Are you certain the education is of a higher standard or is it more of a hot house?

Hi InACheese,
Thank you. The school goes to 13. Secondary would be taking the 11+ or stay until 13. I think we would do the 11+. DD’s are already accepted. The new school is a little better academically, more creative and more progressive. It does have more amenities. It’s not a hot house. It’s a tough decision. :/
