Teachers...ask me some interview questions!

I have an interview tomorrow to be a tutor in the new Making Good Progress pilot scheme. I'll be doing individual tuition with children in the usual target group.
I have been a SAHM for 2 years and my mind is not in the right place. When I look at the job spec all I can think of as answers to possible questions is yes I can do that.

The job spec is,
Qualified...
Willing to... CRB check
Demonstrate a track record of effective teaching, in particular with individual pupils
Be willing to familiarise themselves with NSF objectives and pupil progress tracking documentation

Will have.
Experience of establishing positive relationships with parents/carers and pupils
Spewcific subject knowledge in English/maths at KS2 KS3
The capacity to plan a tailored programme and advise P/C/Teachers how the support links with ongoing class work

Can you help me?

I would work through in your head some examples of when you have successfully worked with individual children to achieve a particular goal. Then you can work those in to the answers.

I'd do a mini plan of work for a group of children - as a paper exercise.

Also plan responses to equal opps questions and child protection protocol as these nearly always come up.

Plan how you will answer a question about implementing government papers - every child matters and birth to 5.

Um....

I need to ask the same about my interview on Friday - different post but I have the same 'blank mind' problem!

Oh Lord, someone tell me about every child matters!

Why do you want to work with children? What would you do if a child refused to do any work? hit another child? Give an example of an outdoor maths activity you could do with children? What do you believe is you most important achievement? If you were famous who would you be?

What post r u applying for? Definately read up on every child matters birth - 5
