I am afraid their closure was inevitable. In my experience they had some of the most incompetent management and governors I have ever come across.

And it is such a shame as it could have still been there in another 100 years 😔

Is anyone else here affected?

This is a school that’s always highly recommended by mumsnetters, specially for girls interested in dance,
As an outsider, the school numbers look low, and I presume there’s no access to government funding via the MDS or DaDa schemes which would boost applications and attract talented students.

Hoping the current students are able to access places in other good schools, I feel particularly sorry for students currently in year 10 or 12

That right, no DaDa or anything like that.

It's been badly run by incompetence as far as I can see. Such a shame! Word on the street is the are millions in debt, and haven't had a balanced budget for 10 years.

I hope everyone finds a place elsewhere soon.
