Lewis Old Grammar School

Hello,
I am considering Lewis Old Grammar school in Lewis, Sussex for my daughter. Does anyone have an opinion about either junior or senior schools? Perhaps you are a current or former parent of a child in one of the schools? Your feedback would be very much appreciated.

My own experience is 10 years old so I'd like to hope things have improved. The problem I had was lack of information & communication.

We had received a prospectus & were yet to visit. I called to ask about SEN support, pupil numbers, school finances & subject choices for GCSE & A levels. I never received a reply & I called twice & I emailed.

In the end, decided other schools were better & more forthcoming with information. Also the website was terrible too! Only know one ex Lewrs pupil who attended from year 9 to 11. He left because the A level choices were not what he wanted.

I hope you get a more recent opinion than mine because I really wanted to like this school. The fees were reasonable & it's location was convenient.
