Charterhouse or Harrow - 2020

I would be grateful to hear from any people who are at either school. Why did you choose it?

Peter Gabriel went to Charterhouse- choose that one!

Both are traditional, academic schools and belong to the group of 9 major British public schools.
There are differences however.
Charterhouse will be (in 2 years) a fully co-ed school of 1000 pupils with boys playing football; it has more of a weekly boarding feel about it.
Harrow is a rugby playing boys only full boarding school.
I looked at both a few years ago and loved both but for different reasons. Chose Charterhouse in the end and it is going very well.

I was just going to mention the fact Charterhouse is going co-ed. Hasn't your child got a strong preference?
