Does anybody have a comparison - which one is more effective? Thanks

I’d love to know myself! Someone also recommended 11+ lifeline, it’s all so confusing! One thing for sure - Bond online is quite useless, DC constantly scores 100% on bond online website, but only 50% on pretest.com comprehension papers. I want to switch, but not sure which one is the best.

We used bofa and my ds2 passed the pretest for Eton and Harrow... We found it very good but only used it for a few weeks beforehand as we had been using bond before that (I would not recommend them as prep for pretest)

I would recommend BOFA regular shirt tests and then some specific BOFA pre-test tests, 2 or 3 to get the hang of the timings.

Thank you. Also, I wanted to add that online is not the same as writing ( writing uses muscle memory etc), but we struggle to have a system for a regular work at home, so doing regular online is probably better than irregular written tasks.
What do you think?

We used pretestplus (both practice tests and video courses) based on a friend's suggestion and it worked out well for us. I wasn't aware of bofa but if I was I probably would have used that as well. I think it's good to get some variety.

I don't think you necessarily need to limit yourself to online practice for the pretest. It's obviously good to get used to the online format but it's not radically different to questions you can find offline. Here are some of the books and offline resources we used based on recommendation:

GL Assessment official practice papers for all four subjects
Letts Pretest books for Maths and English
Exam Papers Plus practice papers for all four subjects
CGP practice papers for all four subjects

Especially for English, VR and NVR, the questions fall within a narrow and predictable pattern so focusing on technique to begin with is important. Then it's just a case of lots of practice!
