Newstead Wood

I was wondering if any parents had children at Newstead Wood school in orpington and if they are happy there? What’s the quality of teaching there?
Is there bullying?

There is a poster on here PettsWoodParadise? She is very knowledgeable about Newstead and there are lots of posts on the elevenplusexams website under the talk forum for Bromley/Bexley schools.

Hi Angelina. I have seen your other thread on the secondary board and don’t have mulch to add to what I’ve already said. DD is in Y9 at NW and very happy there. She hasn’t experienced any bullying but whether it doesn’t exist at all I don’t know. The girls that my DD knows are all supportive of each other. DD likes most of her teachers and feels she gets good teaching from most. I am not an expert about how good or bad it is but we’ve had no complaints so far. The teachers are accessible if you do have questions.
