DD1 has never found school easy, and it has been an uphill struggle since she started.
Last year, we moved to a new area, and after 7 weeks beyond the summer holidays (we moved last minute in July) we finally got her a place at the local school after being rejected by everywhere else.
Now I am happy to report that she brought her school report home yesterday and it is FAN BLOODY TASTIC.
Nearly all A's and B's with one or 2 C's thrown in. She has gone from being a 3C in maths last year to a 4A this year, with straight A grades in French, Art & music. I am so proud, because I had all but given up hope that she would ever do herself justice at school. So for all the Xenias out there who think that a child can only do well at a 'good' school, I say think again. She has previously attended 4 different 'good' schools, and never acheived anything as good as this.
