There was a thread about ofsted the other day. It concluded that ofsted was really there to inspect senior management. Is that you? I've only had one. They mainly went into year 2 and year 6.

We were put on special measures last time so we are expecting a more thorough insepction. I thought they only looked at management but we have been told they will be very visible all day and to expect a visit.

In some ways I have had an escape as I join the management team in september.

At least it's only 2 days!
If ofsted saw me teaching at the moment I'd be getting my P45. Fingers crossed we don't get it before September, by which time I will hopefully have pulled my finger out. (metaphorically of couse!)

I only teach part time so it is only 1 day but I have all my worst classes on that one day.

Well good luck anyway - hope it all goes okay!

Just think of the well earned booze up you can have afterwards!

My sympathies twinset - it's a tough time of year for an inspection. Our children are all quite bouncy and unpredictable atm. Fortunately we had our Ofsted just before half term.

Try and chill out and relax!
