Habs vs Mill Hill

Hi all,
Any views on Habs vs Mill Hill/Belmont for secondary?

Rightly or wrongly, Belmont/Mill Hill are very much seen as less demanding academically, but all I know of them suggests they are great schools and Belmont in particular has a nurturing atmosphere, friends' kids are very happy there. I'm not so familiar with MH in recent years.

Habs is N London top drawer both for boys and girls. Harder to get into, more pressured academically (from what I've been told).

I should make it clear I've not had children at either, this is purely anecdotal from friends and acquaintances in the area.

Do you have offers for both? If so then Habs is a no brainier. Belmont and Mill Hill are lovely schools but you have to ask what you are paying for when plenty of comprehensives, including Mill Hill County and pretty much all the faith comps get as good as, if not better results at GCSE and much better at A level.

Alumni network is very active at Mill Hill which is good I suppose.
