Help! Our DS (11) is being bullied terribly at a private school in cambuslang. The school keep playing it down but he's coming home being pushed and hit 3 days a week. I've given up trying to resolve it with the staff. I'm keen to look at alternative private schools as he's benefitting from the education. Any recommendations in Glasgow area?

Gah,link didn’t post correctly
Glasgow private schools
Sorry your son is being bullied, that’s so upsetting for you both
Why Is the school not taking it seriously

cherriesandoranges · 23/01/2019 21:08

@LipstickHandbagCoffee thankyou. They say they're taking it seriously but always come back with "it's just banter". He's physically pushed every day and a boy told him today "I feel sorry for you as were all ganging up on you...no wait I actually I don't" it's constant every day. Just some horrible kids at the school and he now has anxiety which we're trying to help him with,

So sorry,in that case trust your instinct
If school won’t address your concerns you need to act for your son

Have a look at Ardvreck, only about 40mins from Cambuslang and they do flexi boarding. A smaller very nurturing, family environment where he can rebuild his confidence xx
