Hi. I have been offered a place for my DD at Pembridge Hall starting next September but a friend has told me that the owner of the school (Alpha Plus Group) has recently announced huge financial losses (£12m) for the previous year and that they would have to restructure and cut costs. I was actually surprised that it was relatively easy to get a place as I had been told about waiting lists and having to register your child almost at birth. We applied very late and the process did not seem to be very selective. Any thoughts? Is anybody aware of the financial problems and the cost cutting?
