Anyone with recent experience that can share their views?

We are considering prep, possibly even pre prep at the moment. Have looked around a million times are happy with it but it isn’t what we are familiar with (both had state education) maybe that is where my doubts are coming from.

Want experience of seniors as well, as if we start the plan is to go all the way through, thanks

Hi, I know this thread is old but didn’t you apply to Birkdale? We are thinking of it for secondary in a few years. My husband went to a good state school in Sheffield and at that time he didn’t have a good impression of Birkdale boys. He said there was lots of drug use, spoilt, rowdy boys who were entitled. However this was late 90s. I see boys from the school around here a lot (we are local) and they all seem like lovely, polite young men. The school is accepting girls from
2020.
