Caldicott

Good morning all. Can I ask for any up to date info / opinions / observations on Caldicott from current / recent parents please?
Obviously it's survived the nastiness of the historic abuse revelations - like a number of other schools. Is it a happy, positive environment? Really that's paramount for me. We are due to visit soon and of course will form our own views from that, but insight from those in the direct know would be invaluable. Thanks in advance.

My last son left Caldicott in June, we had three boys there and for us it was a great experience. Wonderful teachers and very positive environment. The boys came out happy, confident and well rounded. It was gentle at first, not as hardcore as selective London preps in terms of the workload but in the end produced very good CE results so it builds up gradually work wise. Drama was excellent, lots of activities, my boys aren't particularly musical so although there is plenty of that I think the standards might not be as high as some other schools but I'm not an expert. Sport is terrific. I would highly recommend it from our experience.
