dd1 starting school what if she won't settle??

dd1 starts Reception class in a week, she's been at the nursery attached to the school in the afternoons for a year and I had 2 weeks of the teachers prying her out of my arms and dd having a nervous breakdown everyday. It broke my heart and I cried every day. What if it happens again? she has to go now, it's not a case of take her out if she does'nt like it. I'm dreading it.

I have talked to her, she understands that she will be going to a different classroom but wants to take her nursery teacher with her! I think i'll just have to grin and bear it. We have a home visit next week with her new teacher maybe that will clear things up a little.
