Can anyone recommend an expert who can help give me some help about how to get my dyslexic son help at school?

Go and see the school's SENCo?

You don't get extra help just for a dyslexia diagnosis. Any child will get focused input if they are behind in specific areas eg reading or spelling or maths. It's not the diagnosis of dyslexia that gets the help - it's how far behind the child is.
