My sons school has just started using this company and I have yet to find a happy parent. All parents of my sons friends and myself included have had to return items due to the size guidelines being useless. My son is tall and thin along with a lot of his friends and we are finding that to get the right lenth in arms and legs the chest and waist sizes would probably fit his dad! Suffice to say I'm not a happy bunny. I am hoping that School blazer will "get it right" in the future!

I love school blazer Grin

It's really easy actually. The school have one of each size of absolutely everything. You try stuff on (took my DD1 about 20 mins max, I was there whipping stuff on and off her). You then order online, and they name tag it all. Phew. Name tagging cost £3 for my eldest child and £2 for the youngest in total.

I have had some issues with a few things out of stock this summer, but the skirt my DD needs for Friday was sent today 24 hours post and will be with us tomorrow, so actually although cutting it fine with stock she'll have everything for the first day.

You can do the online size thing, and actually it was only out for about three or four items out of the dozen or so I tried on her (and that was me wanting to go bigger to get my money's worth, so I went up a size). DD is tall and skinny. DD's blazer is currently at a local seamstress having the sleeves taken up to eek it out for the three years she's at the school.

I haven't had to send back a thing, and think the quality is excellent. So much better than Monkhouse which was the supplier before. The PE kit looks particularly high quality with proper performance fabrics.

Goodness, I do sound as if I ought to work for them Blush

Have found it beyond useless. Out of stock, ridiculous sizing and poor quality. The quality and sizing was so off that discounts were offered but the replacements were not much better. I really don't like it and most parents I know feel the same. Also, the website used to continually crash or refuse payment. I think that's improved but not much else.

Oh dear. Okay if DD's skirt does not arrive tomorrow I will post on here with lots of angry faces Angry But for me, they have been excellent so far.

They were ok 2 years ago when we last bought anything, but last year many of DD's friends had problems with the wrong items being sent etc. I have to admit to leaving it very late this year, I haven't yet ordered anything Blush but school are very understanding if some items are not correct for the first couple of weeks. However, I have had to wait this long as I have been waiting to be paid after work getting it wrong for the last 3 months! I will let you know how it goes as we will need at least a blazer & some sports kit.

I have also had nothing but trouble with Blazer.com, poor quality, sizing and late deliveries. The parents i have spoken to have not one good word to say about this company. I feel that if the school had to deal with such shoddy treatment they would change supplier. But unfortunately, it's left to the parents to use the poor choice of company that has been selected.

I found them beyond dreadful: nothing fitted despite all the website measuring faff, nothing was ever in stock and the whole thing took forever. If you can get the stuff any other way I would. If you have to use them them order early

NutellaNutter · 18/07/2012 20:01

I ordered dd's school stuff from them a month or so ago and had no problem at all. They came to the school with a range of stuff for pupils to try on, then we ordered online. Found it all very easy.
