School refusing

Can anyone give me some information on teens who school refuse please .
My 15 year old daughter is beginning to miss days . We're not sure why .
The school have been very supportive. They have an amazing unit for pupils with difficulties such as anxiety...but our daughter refuses to go into it.

not much help, and I sympathise, but we ended up with our dd going to boarding school!

Are you saying school refusal when you phone in? It's a different mark and kick starts help.

If it's anxiety do they have a listening service or similar in school!
Is there a pattern?

Yes. There is a Specialised team who then phone my daughter to try and persuade her to come in to the unit where work can be sent to for my daughter to do with help ....but she refuses to take the call.

She’s old enough to try and say what the problem is. How was she getting on before this? What does she do instead of school?

Hi Wolkie, she says she hates school and doesn't care about exams.
She stays in her room all day.
The school are withdrawing now as they have put strategies in place like a reduced timetable and a place in their unit , all of whichshe has refused .
