I'm looking for a good book to refresh my maths knowledge. I pretty much stopped learning it at 15/16 but I always loved the subject and was quite good at it at school (that was 30 years ago and I've forgotten a lot!). I didn't go to school in the UK so I also want to learn the English terminology to be able to help my daughters with their education.
I'm after something quite comprehensive (theory), from basics up to A-level, but don't know where to start. I appreciate I may be looking at more than one volume.
Any ideas, please? Thanks
