We are moving to the York area and are considering sending our children to Kings Magna at QE. We were really impressed with the school but would like to hear views from parents who have children already there first hand (not hearsay please). I only seem to find negative comments! Thanks

I'm afraid everyone I know who uses private schools around York chooses St Peters or Bootham.

Any particular reason they are not on your list?

A close family members child went there, it’s not somewhere I would choose

There's a fairly recent thread here about it that might help you.

Why not Pocklington?

Or any State school really.

Might there be a reason for the negative comments, perhaps?
