Not sure if this is right place, but was wondering if there were any EWOs about who wouldn’t mind describing their jobs?
Am thinking of moving over from Primary teaching...

A quick search led me here. One question why do you want to be a education welfare officer? What skills do you have that can come in handy here?

Thanks for replying April. I know the job spec.,just wondered if there was anyone who actually was doing the job who could tell me a little about what it was actually like.

I have been a Primary teacher for many years in many different school. Sort of want to be in a position to help children begin to deal with some of the issues they have before it impacts their learning.
