We are putting together a roadshow, and would like some input about the nature of the project.

If anyone is interested or can pass the questionnaire to the head of Science at their school then please email me on

[email protected]

Many Thanks

What input do you need BTW. I am a scientist (obviously) but I am not related to education in any way (other than having children in school - obviously!!!)

BeatrootandBenedick · 13/06/2007 19:40

Cool!
Can I ask what you charge, face value for a one hour session?
Bit of market research- am setting up a lieracy based service myself at the moment.....
Ours is turning out to be very expensive indeed...

spudmasher · 13/06/2007 20:07

that's literacy

PandaG · 13/06/2007 20:08

Have contacted Snuffy - she is interested and should be along in a while!

snuffy143 · 13/06/2007 20:13

hi beety...have emailed you.

MrsBadger · 13/06/2007 20:20

I am sciencey but not at all teachy - looks fantastic though.

Actually it was that kind of stuff that got me into science in the first place...

[fond memories of smashing tomatoes frozen in liquid nitrogen, and exploding cotton wool balls in liquid oxygen]

SlightlyMadScientist · 13/06/2007 20:29

I agree it looks good.

My company actually go into local schools to do this sort of thing for science week and lunch time science clubs. Sadly it reaches a limited audience.

I can mention it to my company and see if they will sponser it but they tend to look more at local projects for this kind of thing where they can provide scientists and tools rather than cash (my impression of the system - I could be wrong). Do you have a list of locations? Shall I email you anyway or will I clog up your inbox?

Cool - any chance of anything in the NW ???
Will mail you Beetroot
