Millfield abuse case

Having read the article about the 'initiation' whipping at Millfield I'm left wondering how exactly they all managed to barge into a younger boy's room and beat him without any of the staff noticing? It couldn't have been quiet surely.

Good on the parents for exposing it. I do think private schools have a lack of accountability especially with bullying and ISI is a joke as they tend to gloss over anything negative.

Being beaten on their naked backsides with a belt?

Well, GinGarden, I’m glad your boys weren’t scared, humiliated or hurt but your comment certainly helps explain why bullying flourishes.

Don’t thane the victim seriously and pass it off as fun. Angry

How dare you surmise what happened to these boys just because yours were involved in a ‘dare’ type jape? How dare you disbelieve an account where there was a recording, actual injuries (bleeding)?

Bloody hell - I can't believe this kind of thing still goes on. Horrible.
