Milbourne Lodge school

Our DS has been offered a space at Milbourne Lodge pre- prep school. We are currently living in SE London and are looking for a house in Claygate/Esher/Hinchley Wood. Can anyone advise on what school run likes in those areas? Both DH and I are working in London full time. We want to know for school runs to ML school, is Claygate the most convenient place to live? Should we consider other areas?
Thanks

If you are fairly local to the school then it’s not too bad. I would count Claygate, Esher and Hinckley Wood all local! Those coming from further, e.g. Wimbledon can have problems. It can be bad if there is an accident or roadworks, but everywhere in the area gets gridlocked at times. If you are delayed the school will look after your child until you get there, not put them out on the street!

What’s your budget and how many bedrooms do you want? There’s a house for sale directly opposite the school - no commute needed then, but it is expensive!
