Just that really, I like the look of it but, it looks engaging but not sure if it's worth the money.
Has anyone tried it? Please review...

I’ve got he 3-6 and 7+ one, the elder dd loved it and it’s helping, and the younger one who’s 3 likes hers too.

It’s a lot of money for what it is, but the elder dc loves language and it’s boosted her, the younger one is not gifted in the language dept so the fact she’s using more words is more impressive.

Depends how time poor you are too - you can download wow word pyramids and teach them one a day for nothing but this takes the planning/thought out of it

My job makes me very time poor unfortunately,
Wish it wasn't so

Same reasons here, think it’ll help then - I don’t know if there are better things to purchase but I saw it as they advertise a lot.

I've just got it for my 10 year old who is a reluctant learner at time but is also very visual so for him he likes the cartoon pictures of the words but would no doubt be less motivated by a "boring" word pyramid. If I had more time and it was a different one of my children, you could do it yourself - but for me it's working well.

Thanks for your input, I'm feeling more persuaded than earlier!

My 6yr old girl loves it, but I struggle to get her 7yr old brother to engage. He will doubtless learn by osmosis though. Overall I would recommend it.

northernlites · 15/07/2018 15:29

Can I ask what it is they love about it?

my dd loves the stationery aspect - her special folder, and the drawings, she's very into writing and drawing. She likes taking the cards about with her too.

My girl likes the 'studying' element of it, and likes words in general. She's a swotty little thing basically. Likes to show off to her teacher.

That's great madmomma I'm glad she is so into it Grin
