4+ entry to prep schools in beckenham/West wickham

Hi All

first time posting but have found MN invaluable for advice over the years (wouldn’t have survived silent reflux and dairy allergy without it!)

DD is 3.5 and due to start reception in september 2019.

i’m interested in the following preps:
st david’s college - west wickham
st christopher in the hall- beckenham
breaside - sundridge park

does anyone have recent experience of the 4+ admission interviews/assessments at these schools? and what tasks the children are expected to do?

would also appreciate any insight generally into any of these schools

We looked at Braeside. Really liked the school but didn't.like the admissions process, perhaps you could.PM me?

I don’t think any of those are selective they usually just want to know your child is out of nappies and doesn’t run complete amok. DD did an assessment at another school not listed but one of the parents said the half day DD had was similar to what her DS had at St Christopher’s and was mostly about play and getting along with others. That was a many years ago now so could have changed but I hear second hand it is still the main thrust and aim that the school is the best fit for the child.
