Llanishen High School

Does anyone have any advice or experience of this school please? Moving to the area, but recent online reviews have worried me. Ds is only in yr 4 (yr5 from September), so not an issue yet, but we're hoping that this will be a permanent move for us. Thanks.

Can you move into Whitchurch’s carchment instead?

No, sadly, the house is in Llanishens' catchment.....is it best avoided?

I'd be looking to get them into Corpus Christi, Cardiff High or Whitchurch. All excellent schools.

I wouldn’t send a child to Cardiff High (or any religious school).

I know people with kids there and very happy

I taught in Corpus for a few years and it is a good school. Unsure if it is oversubscribed or not. What primary school are you looking to send your child to?

I think most of the schools in the area are oversubscribed. We're looking at Llysfaen primary....
