Croydon high school reception

Hi my daughter will be starting reception this year September. She got into our first choice but after much debate we decide to go for Croydon high school. Anyone has experience with Croydon high?

The two reception teachers are lovely, and very experienced. Your daughter will have a blast. Specialist drama and music and a lovely playground just for Reception and Nursery.

Hi ... am keen for Croydon High as well for my daughter starting Reception this September ... I visited Old Palace of Whitgift as well and loved both the schools ... so kinda split between the two

I haven't been very impressed with the literacy levels of girls who have been to OP. The place is descending downhill and is propped up by Whitgift money. I wouldn't positively compare it to Croydon High. I think you do need to get a move on if you want a space for this September.

Thanks for the insight . Would take an informed decision choosing between the two . Of course the facilities , technology and area of CH is way above OP and fees are more or less the same too .

Hi ... I have a son starting Whitgift in Year 10 ... Just relocated from India

My niece got on really well in CHS juniors, though she joined further up the school. They really got her as a person and her learning progressed really well.

Further up the juniors they get to use the senior school science labs which she loved. Great sports facilities too.

My colleague's two girls go there and seem very happy.

How does croydon high nursery compare with OP ... torn between the 2
