Anyone doing an nvq2 or 3 in childcare?

Anyone? I have a dilemma which i am trying to sort.

Want to be a nursery nurse but dont have a nvq at all but have done loads of other training. Have found a company that is will ing to pay for a student and train me up and they think that i can do an nvq in 6 months and then nvq 3 in another 6 months, menaing that i could be nvq 3 in a year.

In preparation can you tell me what sort of stuff you leanr in a nvq 2 and 3 and what coursework you have to do?

i went straight into nvq3,didnt do 2.i did it as a night course.lessons once a fortnight and lots of coursework.i had to be working in a childcare setting so i worked in local preschool and ended up as deputy manager before even finishing qualification.stupidly i didnt finish course,i had one essay to hand in but after having ds just couldnt get my brain working.i think i had to do 14 essays but most of it was practical stuf.i still have books and lots of info if you want it.i had year to do nvq3,some did it in less but because i had children,working too i found i wouldnt possibly been able to do it in less than a year

Hello. Did you find that most of it was easy as you had kids or was it aimed at coming out of school and not having a clue?
