...agree with whats said, its not teaching per say put practice, practice, practice.
My DS 1 does literacy as I think he is slightly dyslexic and really struggles with his reading. For him its the regular daily practice. His teacher is great, really helps and encourages him, lots of positive praise, but its up to him and me to do the books on a daily basis.
Yes I could read with him, and do but the kumon workbooks are a mixture of reading , writing and spelling practice.
