Patcham High School in Brighton

We are looking to move to Brighton and have seen a couple of houses in Patcham. Our DC will be moving to secondary soon and wondered if anyone knows this school ?
Alternative would be Woodingdean but not sure what the secondary would be there.

Well I went there, but a disturbingly long time ago now so can't be that helpful. It was a good school, especially for sport and the area is a good bit of brighton.

Thank you, Good to know that it is a nice area, I have read old threads saying it was a crap school a long time ago but was wondering how it is now, I can see the stats look better but was wondering more about locals perceptions of it?

Well I did fine at it! It's got(or did have) a very wide catchment area and wasn't an old grammar school like others in Brighton but frankly like most schools islets probably got positives and negatives.

I live in Patcham! I'll PM you as I do supply teaching at the school sometimes
