We are thinking of moving to one of these areas. I have not visited either but plan to soon to have a look round.
I have heard Frome can be stuffy and a bit dull on the one side and on the other that it is a great place to be. I am looking for somewhere arty/a bit bohemian, with good transport links and a great community.
I would like to hear from anyone who lives in these areas or knows them. It seems hard to find properties which appeal and which we can afford. Schools are not important as we are retiring. I don't want to live in a place which has an elderly vibe, I want to live somewhere with lots happening and mixed aged groups, plus possible job opportunities for an adult son.
