I'm just starting this course which has been funded through an online provider by my employer although I'm doing it in my own time.

I've done the AET and got degrees etc but I think I'm a bit out of practice and the layout of the info is making it look very daunting.

Any hints or tips or book lists would be very welcome!

On my DET course we all found Geoff Perry's Teaching Today really useful (1 course leader didn't like it for some reason, though!)

Sorry - autocorrect fail - Petty, not Perry!

I've done the first assignment using Petty, Ann Gravells and Susan Wilson which were really helpful, we'll see what the comments are when it comes back!

Yep, sounds good to me!
The collection by Armitage et al published by the OU 'teaching and training in lifelong learning' is pretty handy too!
Good luck with your assignment!

Thank you, I'll have a look at those resources. I passed my first assignment- just another 15 or so to go!
