State school or grammar schools in Bradford ?

Hello all,

This is my first post so bear with me. I have three daughters and 1 son. Their ages are 8,7,4 and 2. I am currently researching secondary schools as I want to do the best for my eldest daughter who is currently in year 4. I'm going to try and get her to sit the test for bradford grammar school and apply for an assisted place as there is no way id be able to afford to send her to a private school otherwise. I'm also considering Skipton girls grammar but am a bit wary as it's a bit of a trek...but then I think if I want the children to have the best possible education - I'll just have to deal with the long school run. There is also North halifax.grammar and crossley heath..about a 25 min drive from me. I just don't have faith in the state schools around here. Could I have some advice people x much appreciated.

Bradford grammar School gets great results.
On the state side I hear good things about reports.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/ELS/138251 but don't know anyone with children in Bradford schools at the moment.
