school uniform prices

The school my niece goes to has just introduced a new blazer, which is in man-made material, is better styled and is half the price of the horrible wool cloth one. It's better in every way, and she looks very smart in it.

Is it machine washable? That would be a bonus.

The wool ones are £70 upwards. The man made ones seem to be more like £35. So yes. Half the price.

What is your question? I'd like machine washable if it was me.

DD going to an independent high school soon and the uniform will cost around £350 I think for the basics

You have a very distinctive style of writing OP. Reminds me of something.

Not sure what your question is.

Yes, the blazer is machine washable at 40 degrees

Does the school allow kids to wear vans or plimsolls too?

I was about to ask this exact question! Although in the winter, fake Ugg boots might be warmer.
