Bath primaries and secondaries

Planning to relocate from London to Bath within the next year. Any advice on good primaries and secondaries would be gratefully received. Kids currently in Y1 and 2 so would need an in year place. We are looking at Weston, Larkhall and Newbridge as areas as need access to motorway for DH work.
Any schools to avoid?!

It doesn't really matter what schools you like. It only matters what schools have vacancies. I would call the local authorities and ask about the vacancy list and go from there. You do however need to be realistic as popular, well thought of schools are likely to be full with a waiting list.
