I would be so grateful for any insights/opinions/things you've experienced or heard about-
Esher church School
St Paul's Thames Ditton
Cranmere
& HW Primary.

thanks very much.

Esher church is an excellent school but you need to live in catchment. There is a lot of tutoring / movement to private sector at 11. St Paul's is catholic and doesn't feed into the local secondary state schools so at 11 you either go private or catholic secondary school. Cranmere and HW primary are good but more normal state primary schools feeding into local state secondary schools. You have missed Thames Ditton infants/junior and Claygate Primary from your list - both good primary schools.

No longer really need to live in catchment for Esher Church School, there are spaces and a good chance you'd get in without church attendance. Thames Ditton and Claygate Primary are also well-regarded. Impressive new Head and Deputy Head at Claygate in 2018 and very active (in terms of fund raising and community activities) parent community.
