Staines Prep and others

Hi all. We have two ds aged 4 and 6 years old. They will both start in reception and yr3 classes in Sept. For a few different reasons we have decided to place them into prep schools. We are not too far from Staines Prep and we’re wondering if anyone had any experiences they could share? We like that 50% of the year 6 children there gained places at grammar schools. We are working professionals, and whilst we can put our children’s into prep the cost of an independent secondary would likely be too high for both ds. We have so far looked at Hampton prep and pre prep, The Mall and are booked to visit Twickenham Prep School..... it’s all abit of a stress case for us, as we have missed some of the 7+ assessments therefore some schools may be able to offer my 4year old a place and my eldest would go in a waiting list.
We are so confused with the independent schooling world, all advice would be appreciated xx

They are all good Prep schools for boys, Hampton Prep is linked to Hampton School so they are less likely to have many boys applying to Grammar schools. The Mall stops at 11, Twickenham Prep stops at 13 and is mixed. Staines Prep is good too. You have missed Newland House off your list but it isn't near Staines. I would go for the easiest drop off etc and a school that can take both ds.
