Does anyone have any experience of Latymer in Hammersmith? We are having a tour on Friday with regard to the 7+ entry next year and would appreciate any insight. DS1 is an August child so I would also be interested to know whether they take age into account on application. Many thanks.

I keep telling myself I won’t respond again!
@pkim123 - I am just genuinely curious as to why you post on every LU thread with the same 3 links relating to things that happened years ago.
What is your motivation? Genuinely?
we’re all more than capable of googling and when I chose schools for my DCs I d

I will tell you why I keep posting if you do the following for all of us, seriously. Please post three news stories which discuss drug abuse incidents at different times for a single London independent school. Anywhere in London. But the news stories must focus solely on one school, not a general discussion of drugs in schools. If you can do that, then I will tell you why I post what I do. Thank you.

Disregarding the two stories that are well over 10 years old and just focussing on the one from 5 years ago that this poster is obsessed with- it shows the school expelled students for possessing drugs. So they actually dealt with the issue at the time. And @pkim123 still wants to bang on about the school 'having a problem'. When in fact they dealt with a problem??

I've just realised, the obsession must be because they are the parent of the one of the children who was expelled! Must be. Why else the single minded obsession.

And I'm not little or sad. Bemused but enjoying the sunny day is my current vibe .

I’m not posting any links to any school. I don’t even have DCs at LU. The schools my DCs are at have ‘issues’ but they don’t hit the papers and involve a few kids. Same as most schools. Just idly curious as to your motivations.

A school that repeatedly has to deal with drug abuse incidents has very clearly not solved the problem of drug abuse. But again, if you find a single school with three drug abuse incidents in the media, in London, then I will share with you why I post these things. Thank you.

Okay, so you are confirming that no other London independent has been reported in the media to have three or more drug abuse incidents like Latymer Upper. Thank you for looking.

No- I said I’m not posting any links.
Off to enjoy the sunshine..☀️

OnionToast · 22/05/2022 11:37

I think we've established the only person with the time and interest in running Google searches on drugs in schools is you. I'm not dissing other schools so that you can 'reveal' your motivation @pkim123.
Own the reason for your behaviour..... Or don't... Literally no one cares as no one is listening to you. But maybe get down from this particular cross, there's an energy crisis going on and we need the wood.

Sure, okay...good excuse. Clearly, you realised that there are no other schools that have this many drug abuse incidents in London. Thanks for proving me correct. Have a lovely day. 🤗

@OnionToast - it’s not worth it- the obsession this poster has with LU is bizarre!

After stating, "it's not worth it", you then posted five times. Seems like it was worth it.
