Sorry. It was a member of school staff who specialises in child mental health. @Ojoj1974

We've had excellent taks on computer safety and drug awareness. The charities that did them also carried out workshops with some of the pupils during the day.

drugs talk by the Daniel Spargo Mabbs Foundation
internet awareness

Both are South London/Surrey based, but I think do travel around to give talks.

Where I am a Governor, (a junior school) the school holds termly meetings for parents to come and raise issues with the Head over coffee so everyone gets a chance to put forward ideas about what they would like more information about. The school is also proactive about meetings at the beginning of the year to cover the curriculum for each year group and new initiatives as they come along. We have covered how we are teaching Maths, Assessment without levels, our residential trip, e safety, our 5 year vision, and plan to have additional sessions on areas for improvement in our Improvement Plan.
