Private vs State

Ok so I need opinions ...

I went to a small private school, it suited my nature, personality - did me no justice with academia .... equally I just wasn't academic.

I have the money to send my DC to private school.

What would you say are they advantages vs disadvantages for private / state?

In conclusion, i do not think it's really worth the money at infants level.

This also does depend on what your child is like and what your choice of EYFS settings are like. The last school I worked in was 4 form entry and all 120 YR children were together in a big, completely open plan area free-flowing most of the day. My August born DS who has some AS traits would have been very stressed in that environment and probably been quite naughty. Whereas he thrived in a class of 8 with a teacher and a TA. It was worth it for him. Might not be for another child.
