KTDAD · 17/11/2017 22:19

They change it every year. A lot of it is seeing how the boys work together in groups, taking turns, listening to others, cooperating but also participating and contributing. There are sometimes things like maths patterns, how to make the shapes fit a particular picture, games with words/dice etc but it can't be prepared for. It shouldn't be stressful for anyone and definitely not the boys - they come out having had a good time, a bit of a play and having had a chocolate biscuit! Good luck to your sons.

Anyone DS did SPJS today? What did they think of exam? Was is difficult or ok?

gtijerina · 09/01/2018 20:32

Just two weeks to go until results. Seems like a very long turn around this year.

shrimanprithviraj · 09/01/2018 21:19

Yes long turn around starting dec abd continuing to jan end... hard to sustain ...

TimeForLunch · 10/01/2018 06:56

Is anyone doing Bancroft's? We've got that this weekend.

gtijerina · 10/01/2018 14:13

We only did King's.

gtijerina · 24/01/2018 14:58

For those waiting for King's I revived this old thread:

Good luck all waiting for the letters tomorrow! Why dont they send emails once the results are ready! How many children do they take? (We didnt do Kings this year ... but interested for next year!)

gtijerina · 24/01/2018 15:58

From the number of groups I saw at pick-up would say around 210-220 boys sat for 54 places this year.

good luck everyone!

Hopeful2000 · 25/01/2018 10:21

My son told me there were 12 kids in his group, and there were 10 groups. I didn’t do pick up so cannot confirm. Thought it would be more than 120.
