Are 6 th year Studies in Scotland the same as A levels in England?

I did Larkin in higher english. It was awful!

Where are you mankyscotslass and where are you from? I'm from Dundee but in Farnborough now.

I was going to say something else but can't remember what it was...

bink- the other good thing about having Scottish qualifications and going to interviews in England is that a grade D at Higher level is seen as a fail in Scotland but as a D isn't a fail in A-levels I could put my Higher Chemistry, grade D back onto my cv and look clever as I have 5 highers and people who don't know anything about Scottish education system think thats like having 5 A-levels.

DTS, I'm from Erskine but live in Manchester now! See, that's the thing down here, never knew where to put my highers on forms! Blimey, higher chemistry....i ran screaming from the class when i finished O Grades....HATED IT!!
