Hi All! I was just curious if anyone here is a medical office assistant or a medical assistant? I am thinking about taking an at home training course from a place called Harcourt. One of the courses would be mainly for behind the counter work (filing ins, phones, appointments etc) and the other for more of the clinical duties (side by side with the doctor). One just takes a little longer. I have never done anything like this so I am wondering if future employers would look at an earned degree from at home the same way as actually attending the college in person and receiving your degree. Harcourt has been around for a very long time but I am also planning to check into colleges for at home. They are just so much more money. Any advice would be appreciated.
